Who's That Girl? is the pilot episode of LPS: Popular, and the first episode overall. It aired on July 10, 2010.

Synopsis[]

The pilot episode of Littlest Pet Shop: Popular! Savannah Reed and Brooklyn Hayes had been best friends since they were babies. But, when Brooklyn moved to California for eighth grade, Savannah and Brooklyn lost touch. What will happen when Savannah moves to California as well? Will it be a tearful reunion for these long lost BFFs? Here's a hint: not even close.

Detailed Plot Summary[]

Savannah Reed is seen with her parents in the kitchen. Savvy exclaims, "Oh. My. Gosh." She asks her parents if they are serious, with them replying that they are and they wouldn't joke about "something like this".

Savannah is very excited because her best friend, Brooklyn Hayes, had moved to California. She comments on how she'll be able to see her, and a flashback starts.

We see Savannah and a cat with hazel eyes, pink bow and blue heart shaped glasses. This cat turns out to be Brooke. Savvy asks Brooke if she has to go, and Brooke sullenly replies that she wishes she could stay. The two girls briefly discuss how they will stay in touch ("Instant Messaging until midnight!"). Brooke reveals the school she will be going to: Orange County Day. She makes a comment about how the school put "Day" in the name "As if it wasn't already obvious that school is during the day." Savvy replies with how the school's name shortens to OCD, which hints to the school being compulsive and uptight. Brooke says she won't be glamorous enough, but her friend says she will fit in. Their conversation is cut short by Brooklyn's mother calling her over. Savannah says they will be BFFL's forever. Brooke repeats the phrase and leaves.

Trivia[]

  • The song used in the sequence where Savannah moves to California is "California Gurls" by Katy Perry.
  • The song used in the end of the episode is the theme for The Plastics in the movie "Mean Girls".

Bloopers[]

  • Brooke comments on how she will be going to the Orange County Day school. Brooke was in seventh grade at the time, so she would not have been able to attend for another year.
